So I've kind of gotten into the whole blogging thing again hence the post after post thing you see going on. Lately I've been shopping a lot. I have no idea what it is, but I feel the need to buy something whenever I'm in a make-up store. A couple days ago I was in need of a new mascara because I left mine at my sister's place; I walked into superdrug the following day and ended up getting a couple more items which I'm glad I bought. I found this awesome face primer with shimmer in it. It gives the most amazing glow and leaves your make-up looking fresh and dewy. Also a couple eye shadows by MUA. If you haven't heard about MUA I'll tell you now they're a make-up brand who give you good quality products at incredibly affordable prices. I got each eye-shadow for a pound so it cost me £3 for all of them - isn't that amazing? The eye-shadows are extremely pigmented and long-lasting. So, if you're in need of some mac dupes check out MUA.

New products of the week...

Earlier on today I was watching one of my favourite make-up artiste's videos; she goes by the name Lisa Eldridge and is extremely talented. Her tutorials cover a wide range from evening looks to work make up. She has worked with the likes of Emma Watson, Kate Winslet, Alexandra Burke, The Saturdays and numerous high end fashion models. I was particularly intrigued by Kate Winslet's make-up for the July issue of Spanish vogue. She had the most luscious red on her lips and I'll tell you now it's impossible to see that and not want to buy a similar red lipstick. So I went about town hunting for the perfect colour and ended up buying a tad bit more. A couple lip liners and golden shadows. I can never get tired of make up. There's always a look yet to made.

HOW TO | Sultry smokey eyes.

Hello my loves,

So I'm carrying on with my 'how to' series for beauty beginners. This episode is all about the smokey eye. Now smokey eyes are EVERYWHERE. Work, school, nights out, magazines, runway you name it, they will forever be in vogue. Personally, I like my smokey eye more on the soft sultry side as opposed to dark and edgy. So in this tutorial I will teach you how to do that. I stuck to a soft colour palette. When creating a smokey eye you need a variation of tones ranging from light to dark. This creates the illusion of depth. My tutorial is suited more for people with hooded eyes. In other words, people with heavy lids i.e you can't see your crease area. When creating a smokey eye you can start with the darkest or lightest colour on the lid and work your way on up from there. However, I prefer to start of with the lightest colour and build up from there.

MAKEUP | ♥ Girly Girl ♥

Hello dolls,

So I'm back again, and this time with a fun, girly tutorial. I haven't put much effort into my appearance lately so I thought 'Wait a minute! why don't you do a girly makeup tutorial' I've been so busy that I forgot the joys of being a girl, pink, pink and pink galore!!! Ahhh I love being a girl don't you? I mean the hair do's, the clothes, the pink lipsticks, glitter pigments...Oh dear do not get me started honey! I know these things seem trivial lol but they do add to the joys of being a girl. I'm sure we all know that feeling you get when you've just got a manicure, new weave, or MAC FOUNDATION! lol So this look is a mixture of silver and browns which I've been into a whole lot lately. I've funked it up with a warm pink on my lips. This look was inspired by the metallic colours I've been into lately. I realised that metallic colours go nicely with nudes. STYLE FILE | Get the look : Kim Kardashian

Hello dolls,

So I decided to make a new series called style file in which i'll be showing you how to incorporate the style of your fashion icons in yours. Kim Kardashian is one of the leading ladies when it comes to fashion. I love her style particularly because it's classy, elegant, sexy and cute all at the same time. She wears a lot of neutral colours, Animal prints and heels which I'm a big fan of so I thought it would be fun to make a Kim inspired video. Here I'll be doing one of her signature make up looks, hairstyles and three outfits that you can wear to work, casual day out, or a night out. The make up look featured in this video is one of kim's popular looks. We all know she loves her shimmery browns, and nudes so I used that color scheme to create a similar look to her daytime smokey eye. Her hair is always amazing!! That's something we can all definitely agree on so I featured her straight blown out hair look. I love the way her hair flows it looks luscious and healthy.

I hope you guys enjoy this video and find it useful. I believe we all have style icons whether it's a celebrity, friend or adult, we all have that one person who knows what they're wearing and inspires us to be daring with clothing.
